A map printed onto a clock face turns a functional object into something with a story behind it. The Globe Mantel Clock does that, with a globe inspired design carrying a map clockface inside a black frame, black hands and a pedestal base beneath. The old world reference sits comfortably on a home office desk, a bookshelf or a study, particularly alongside books and framed prints. Iron, MDF, glass and paper make up the build. The pedestal lifts it slightly, which helps it read among other objects on a crowded shelf.
